Spirituality
The St. Luke’s Centre is firmly rooted in the spiritual and liturgical cycle of our Roman Catholic Tradition. Our clients’ spirituality and relationship with the Church is of central importance to our work with them. Our assessment programmes explore this important relationship with our clients through questionnaire materials and face-to-face interviews with our trained spiritual directors. St. Luke’s also offers spiritual direction to our Continuing Care clients and outpatient therapy clients. The Continuing Care workshops offered by St. Luke’s incorporate a review of the client’s experience of spiritual direction and the Sacrament of Reconciliation in their ongoing recovery. We explore spirituality and prayer life as essential building blocks of healthy living. Twelve Step spirituality is also explored for those in recovery.

The goal of the spirituality programme is to deepen one’s spiritual life and relationship with God and to integrate these with on-going recovery and healthy life and ministry.

Outpatient Therapy
The Outpatient Therapy Programme at St. Luke’s Centre provides services for priests, religious men and women and candidates who are seeking psychological help, spiritual integration and emotional healing within a Catholic faith context. Our services include individual therapy, support groups and group therapy. Our staff can also provide supervision or consultation for diocesan and religious community leadership teams.
